There are several other obvious issues in what you have posted so far but at least you might get the video driver out of the equation that makes up the problem.ĭISM and SFC sould have fixed a lot of issues.logs look good. You can enable the search again later when you are finished with the other things and let it build it's Index which could take several to many hours of lots of disk activity. I would tell you how but sometime my interventions are frowned upon.Ī frequent cause of lots of disk I/O is the Windows Search Service (and your is enabled) so when you see the disk activity too high go to Services and and Stop that Service and if the problem goes away, disable the Service and restart. You should be able to easily find out what is using the disk with Resource Monitor (that's what it's for) so maybe somebody will help you with that. Your Speccy report also shows hibernation was not enabled so turning it off did nothing for the issue - but I know for some it seems a basic troubleshooting step.

If you update the driver restart the system and check Speccy or Device Manager to be sure the right version shows. NVIDIA says the current driver for your video card is 472.12:

The only place you should get video drivers is from the hardware manufacturers site - not from Windows or Updates from Device Manager since (and I checked) Microsoft has a worse video driver than that so you are luck that idea didn't backfire on you. To translate that to NVIDIA version shift the last two decimal places to the right and it becomes: Your Speccy report says your video drier version is: Since your system is not OEM what did you do to "reset" the system?

Some of the things I've tried to no avail (a lot of these were prior to full reset). I'm super frustrated at this point as I'm at a total loss.Īny suggestions are appreciated (other than buying new PC). The entire computer will randomly get super slow/unusable and most of the time when I try to play apex it just gets incredible slow to the point where I just quit. I reinstalled only one game (apex) to test, and am still having issues. The disk usage is now down and that is no longer an issue. I spent weeks on google trying to fix it and ended up just doing a full reset of my pc. I also noticed that after the initial loading startup screen, there would be a SECOND loading screen with just a black screen and a loading circle at the bottom (never noticed this before).Įverything I tried to do was painfully slow. Use to be so fast (less than a minute probably), now it's like 5 mins.

My PC startup takes way longer than it should. I noticed in task manager that I had 100% disk usage 100% of the time even with nothing running (nothing that wasn't required by windows). I didn't play my pc for a couple weeks and next time I got on, everything was slower. Every game I played I could play at high graphics without issue and good FPS (e.g. Got it for virtual work and mostly gaming. So I'm pretty green as far as computers go.
